The 6th Jameson's Dublin International Film Festival which runs from the 15th to the 24th of February is here the programme is out the dates the times and the events so read the forward below by Gráinne Humphreys Festival Director. "We have a brand new look for this year’s festival programme, but as in previous years we bring the cream of Irish and international cinema to the best audiences in the world. It has been a personal pleasure to explore the incredible range and diversity of world cinema over the past year and I am delighted that we have been able to secure key titles from such emerging national cinemas such as Lebanon, Israel and Estonia for this year’s event.

Our opening night film is something very special indeed, while our final presentation is the world premiere of another eagerly awaited Irish film. G.W. Pabst’s Pandora’s Box (which will have musical accompaniment by 3epkano), while the festival will spotlight the work of the filmmaker, artist, writer, critic and curator, Jonas Mekas, a driving force behind American independent cinema and the founder and artistic director of Anthology Film Archives in New York.

And in keeping with JDIFF tradition, the Surprise Film has not been selected as we gone to print with the festival programme. One of the most eagerly anticipated presentations in the line-up, it is usually first to sell out and the source of constant conversation throughout the run up to the festival and for the duration of the event itself."
