This is the first British film to almost be scraped following the scraping
of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
scheme, where a person/persons/company are able to claim tax relief on any losses resulting from a
production. The system was scrapped on
2 March, leaving a massive hole in the budget of the St Trinian's film.
Davenport Lyons stepped in and provided the finance, its first venture in to
film finance.

UK girlband, Girls Aloud have reputedly signed a 4 million pound deal to
promote the film and put in a small appearance in the film.

Filming is took place at Ealing studios and in and around London UK.
|
| Kimberley Walsh, Cheryl Tweedy, Sarah
Harding & Nicola Roberts turn up for filming and shooting for the film at
Ealing studios with the noticed absence of Nadine Coyle. |
